40000時間？の時を超えて～LED電球の寿命到来･･･そんなに使ったかなぁ？ [いろいろなモノ]
3年位前だったでしょうか、白熱電球の電気代節約の観点より、大きな電球は電球型蛍光灯へ、小さな電球はLED電球へ交換できるものを交換しました。
特に我が家のマンションの廊下ではE17という規格の電球を使用しており、LED型が登場するまで我が家の廊下に使用できる蛍光灯型等の代替品は登場しておりませんでした。
常時2～3つの白熱電球を付けっぱなしにするのは電気代的に勿体ないということで、永年廊下は暗いままという状態が続いておりましたが、E17型のLED電球が登場した際、「まさにマンションの廊下のために生まれてきた商品では？」ということで、少々値段は高かったのですが廊下・玄関分の購入に踏み切りました。
もう何年前かも忘れてしまいましたが、その当時上記内容で「E17のLED電球はいいですよ！」と紹介しようとブログ上の画像ファイルとして、アップしていた写真が下の写真です。
そして、E17のLED電球はどこの会社のLED電球を選ぶのか？ということで、アイリスオーヤマ製をお勧めするためにアップしていた写真が下の写真です。
個人的には、「サイズ・形状的に電球の代わりにソケットにきちんと収まることが何より大切！」と考えており、格好が良かろうと、おしゃれであろうと関係なく、とにかく電球と同じサイズであることを最優先に考えております。
そしてアイリスオーヤマの商品ではきちんとその点について謳っておりましたので、とても安心して選択することができました。
電球型蛍光灯で電球と微妙にサイズが違っていたことから泣かされた経験が何度もあるものですから...。
合わなかったからという理由で返品されてもお店にとっては迷惑でしょうし、冒険する値段としては結構高いと思っておりますので...
さてさて、前置きがすっかり長くなってしまいましたが、このような経緯で明るいマンションの廊下ライフを続けていたのですが...先日帰宅時、廊下の一部が暗くなっていることに気がつきました...
暗い場所のLED電球を確認したところ、電気が暗くなっている...写真では判りづらいですが、おおよそ蛍光灯の豆球（常夜灯）+アルファ位の明るさでしょうか...
電球に問題があるのか確認のため、他の箇所に取り付けてみた結果が、このページのTOPと下の写真です。
露出を+1.5程補正した結果です...残念ながらこの明るさでは我が家では使用する箇所はありません...
改めて製品寿命を確認しますと、40000時間と書いてある...1日15時間使用していたとしても、1年365日で7年位は使える計算では...？と妻と（恥ずかしながら）電卓をたたきながら確認してしまいました...
電気代を含めて考えればメリットは出ているのでしょうが、電球の値段としては白熱電球の何倍もしていることから、微妙なところかなぁ？とため息を漏らしてしまいました...
おそらく個体差があるのでしょうね...今回のように意外と保たない個体もあるのかもしれませんが、形状が電球と同じという点はとても大切なポイントですので、おそらくまたアイリスオーヤマの商品を購入すると思います...個人的には売り場で唸りながら比較するが大好きですので断定はしませんが...
また、新しい？明るい5.2w型がお気に入りですので、アイリスオーヤマ製の製品を購入するのであれば、今回は5.2w型を選ぶと思います。
今回の球切れを機に、書かないままにしておりましたLED電球の記事を書いてみました。
若干ネガティブな内容も含んでおりますが、私自身はLED電球によるマンションの明るい廊下ライフはとても良いと思っておりますので、マンション住まいの方で電球を使用中の方は節電の観点から、暗い廊下の方はLED化による明るい廊下ライフを、E17型かどうかは別にして一度検討されてみても良いかもしれません。
